Some work just before the resort battens down for the predicted
storm - Preparations for the storm news
The
big dig for the new sewer hook up from the Cafe
Part
of the parking lot between the Clubhouse and Building 5
has to be closed off for the work
DEEP
hook up (below the water level)
Oh
oh - the rain starts
Work
has to stop - area will remain closed
Cafe
area gets boarded up for wind protection
Pool
closed at 4:30PM Monday - Furniture will be placed in pool
for safety.
In
addition, we distribute a memorandum to all registered guests
early this morning to ask them to keep informed and to follow
all the government emergency agencies instruction because
the resort will follow those. Also to let everybody know
that we are in state of emergency.
About
11AM we set a massive message in the telephone system advising
everybody pool will be close effective 4:30PM this afternoon.
We are
planning to release another set of instruction very early
tomorrow morning.
This
storm should reach us some time late morning or early afternoon.
If we get right on the path or the eye of the storm is east
of us it is better than if we are east of the storm path.
The eastern part of the storm is suppose to be the most
dangerous one.
